Introduction |
Named in honor of Nobel Prize-winning chemist Glenn Seaborg, advisor to 9 U.S. Presidents and long-time Lafayette resident, the Consortium enables public library patrons, children, families, groups and institutions to tap into an unprecedented wealth of materials, archives, workshops, exhibits, K-12 curricula, lectures, films and discovery centers from the following organizations: Thanks to the generous support of the Thomas J. Long Foundation, the LLLCF was able to present 30 programs, an average of one per week, during our first 9 months of operation. The LLLC Foundation is actively seeking Sponsorships from corporations and individuals to further Consortium programming and community outreach.
